Commercial glaziers in London

ARRT Group is a commercial glazing and high-level access contractor with its registered office in Covent Garden. Our London team replaces glass at height, traces and repairs leaking glass roofs and atria, refurbishes curtain walling and makes damaged glazing safe on occupied buildings and live venues across London and the South East. We are commercial glaziers only. Call 020 3780 3001.

Glazing at height on buildings that stay open

Much of London’s commercial glass is difficult to reach: atria over trading floors, glass roofs over public spaces, curtain walling above busy pavements and heritage roofs on listed buildings. The building usually has to stay open while the work is done. We bring glazing and access together in one team, so the same people survey the defect, make it safe and complete the repair, with exclusion zones, protection and photographic records on every visit.

Proven in London: Alexandra Palace

Alexandra Palace is a Grade II listed London landmark and a live events venue. Over more than 10 years the ARRT team has delivered multiple projects there without routine scaffold shutdowns:

  • External sealing to the three major glazed roofs
  • Over 350 glass units changed, including 194 glass panes on one roof and 112 × 7mm Georgian wired glass panes on another
  • 4 replacements on the rose stained-glass window
  • Rope access to the heritage roof lantern on the glass dome, and a tracked spider boom lift on protected floors beneath a single glazed Victorian glass roof

Most recently, on 20 October 2026, we carried out an emergency make-safe of three roof ventilation louvres above the Great Hall that had seized open and were letting rainwater in. We were on site within 4 hours of the first call, reached the roof by rope access with no scaffolding, and stopped the leak in a single visit. See the Alexandra Palace hub for the full programme.

Access methods

We choose the access that costs the client least and disrupts the building least. Scaffold is used only when it is genuinely the right answer, and we will explain why if it is.

  • Rope access by IRATA-trained technicians, for elevations, domes and glass roofs with a minimal footprint. See rope access.
  • MEWPs and tracked spider lifts, operated by IPAF-trained operatives, for atria, internal glazing and protected floors.
  • Internal access and towers by PASMA-trained, CSCS-carded site teams.

Yes. Our team has delivered multiple projects over more than 10 years at Alexandra Palace, a Grade II listed London landmark, including external sealing to the three major glazed roofs and over 350 glass units changed.

What should I do if glass is broken or water is coming in?
