Atrium roof refurbishment over a live concourse
Failed sealed units and perished capping to a large glazed atrium above an operational public space, resolved without closing the floor below.
ARRT Group is a specialist high-level glazing and access contractor working on commercial building envelopes across London, the South East & UK-wide — usually without a single scaffold tube.
Most commercial glazing defects are not difficult to fix. They are difficult to reach — a cracked pane on the eleventh floor, a leaking atrium above a live concourse, perished gaskets on an elevation over a pedestrianised street.
ARRT Group exists for exactly those jobs. Our technicians are envelope tradespeople trained to work on rope and from powered access, so the person who diagnoses the defect is the person who fixes it — in one visit, without a scaffold, and without shutting your building.
Specialist services covering survey, aerial building surveys, repair, replacement, commercial roof repairs, maintenance and emergency response — for buildings that stay open while we work.

Failed, cracked, blown or vandalised units replaced at height — from single panes to full elevations, with access designed around your building.

Anyone can quote a sealed unit. The value is in the method: how we get to it, how we protect the people below, how we keep the space open, and how we prove the work was done properly.
Out of hours
Night possessions, weekend closures, holiday windows, floor-by-floor phasing and early-morning starts before the doors open — the programme is built around your operation, not our convenience.
You speak to someone who understands glazing, not a call handler. Emergencies are mobilised immediately; everything else is booked for survey.
We access the defect at close quarters, identify the system and photograph the condition. No guesswork from ground level.
A fixed written price with the scope, materials, access method, programme and working hours set out clearly.
Task-specific risk assessment and method statement issued for approval, permits arranged, materials ordered and delivery confirmed.
Trained, directly employed and vetted operatives on site with a named supervisor and a daily progress update.
Photographic record before, during and after, warranty documentation, and a schedule of anything else we noticed while we were up there.
Nearly 10 years’ high-level glazing, rope-access cleaning, decorating and roof repairs at Alexandra Palace — live Grade II venue, no scaffold shutdowns. At Palm Court alone: 89 replacements of Georgian wired glass.
Two named jobs sit on the hub: heritage roof-lantern rope access, and Palm Court atrium spider access.

Selected clients named with permission — starting with Alexandra Palace. Other scopes stay anonymised for commercial and FM instructions.

Anything not covered here — ring us. You will speak to someone who has been on the ropes, not a script.
Yes. We are London based and cover the South East as standard, with UK-wide coverage for planned programmes, portfolios and multi-site clients.
In the majority of cases, yes. Rope access, MEWPs, mast climbers, glazing robots and out-of-hours crane lifts remove the need for a scaffold on most elevations — which usually removes the largest single cost from the job.
We run a 24/7 response desk. Call 020 3780 3001 and we will give you a realistic attendance time based on your location, the access required and the time of day.
Yes. Public liability insurance is £10 million. Insurance details, method statements and risk assessments are issued for approval before mobilisation, and we will complete any client or FM pre-qualification pack you use.
Initial site surveys for quotable works are free. Detailed condition surveys and formal reports are a priced deliverable, because they take real time and produce a document you can budget from.

Send us the building, the defect and a photograph if you have one. We will tell you the access method, the likely scope and a realistic programme.
